Back on Perth

After leaving Perth beginning of January, I'm back in the lovely family which accommodated me few month ago.
I need some money, and I kept in touch the boss that I had before in the food service company.
For our come back , people were happy to see us again !

The place to be, looks like not but it's 18°c below zero, pretty cold, it's why you need a big jacket.

So I told you that it was a food service company, the best part of my job is when a ice cream pot fell I can taste the ice cream if it's broken, and this is my favourite flavour, WORLD CLASS CHOCOLATE

I've been to Bondi a week day, and I met different people other there, let's see what you can meet on Bondi beach :

The Australian girl (of course), just here to relax, have a good time, the australian life, but always in THE chic place.















The Swedish girl, she's most part of the time backpacker but high level,, it's like the business class in the plane, always good looking, blond of course, coming in Australia to meet hot atmosphere.















The Business man, often Asian, always with his suitcase and his camera, he's here for business but he always take time for some tourism between two meetings.
















The fat housewife, here to find a surfer, and more if affinity ....















And I was going to forget...















The perfect male backpacker, always in movement to find the perfect spot, sometimes lazy, will to meet people and more specially girls. To conclude, in search of the perfect life.

PS: you gonna ask me how can I make the difference between Australian girl and Swedish girl ? because it's looks like a bit the same for you, but for me, I meet every days girls like that and with practice, that's something usual now.

Bondi

Bondi beach, THE australian beach ! with the famous safeguard, but I didn't see them. I saw some sufers, and some beautiful girl, just spending time on the beach.















To justify my jersey, It was the day when Lyon's soccer team beat Real de Madrid for the champion's league, a great day, I was awake at 6 o'clock to watch the match on Tv.

I came back the 9th of march in Sydney, I spent 4hrs to find my backpack in the airport, and after 5 weeks without it, I found it ...

MTB in the Whakarewarewa Forest

Just before living the country, I did some Mountain bike near Rotorua, in the giant trees forest. It was so hard but so good. I realized that I'd not the good training, I pushed and walked to go up, but on the way down, I felt myself good, good sensation on a bike since long ago.















And of course, I tried THE downhill track

For our last camping dinner in NZ, it was 40 fish fingers catched the same day in the supermarket !!!!! huuuuuum smells good !

Kaikoura

Kaikoura is the perfect peninsula, it's one of the only place of the world with such awesome mountains close to the sea ans such wildlife so close at hand : whales, dolphins, seals, penguins....
Unfortunately, it was to late in he season to see some whales, but we walked along beautiful beaches to meet the wildlife.

Michel was cooking pasta for change. You can thing that it was cold, 'cause he has pull-over and pants and it was, but it was against sandflies as well.

Just for fun, I was testing my camera. and the result was a good.

Lake Tekapo and casttle hills

Lake Tekapo has almost the same colour of Pukaki's one, it's due to "rock flour" in the water. This sediment gives the water a milky quality an refracts the sunlight beaming down, hence a brillant colour.





























We had just few days left to drop off the car at Christchurch, and we decided from Mt Cook to Christchurch to do Lewis pass, Arthur pass and then Kaikoura.
We stopped at Casttle hills, to see these limestones just standing here. Some people were over there to climb rocks without rope.

I spent a freezing night in the tent, temperature was going down till 5°C, and my sleeping bag was to small for me, so my shoulders and my head were outside of it. Even if I slept with my beenie, it was really extreme condition.
The day after, we did the Hooker Valley track, to go at the Mt cook's bottom. It was 3hrs both ways but we did more to explore around. At the terminus of the track, Mt Cook, and Hooker glacier. Nature is so beautiful. I leave you enjoy...

Mt Cook national Park

We arrived end of the afternoon to Mt Cook area, after have seen beautiful landscape in Lindis pass, we stopped for a break at Lake Pukaki, on the way to Mt Cook, around 30km before.





























We put the tent in the only Campground, which is at the beginning of the track to go on the bottom of Mt Cook. At the end of the day, all the valley was in the dark, but one part was still lit by the sun.
